Shipping Policy

Where we Ship

We are happy to ship to Canada and Continental United States. 

Areas such as Rural areas, Towns, Postal Boxes, where there is no door delivery available,  you will need to pickup your order at the shipper's nearest pickup location.

UK & Australia:  We have limited shipping to United Kingdom & Australia. These rates are based on small lightweight packages for urban areas in larger cities**  Note: We will only ship to the billing address.  

Shipping Rates**

Orders $100.00 and more:

  • FREE* Standard Shipping in Canada on orders of $100.00 or more.
    *Excluding to Nunavut, Yukon, and the Northwest Territories.  Unfortunately we are unable to offer free shipping, but instead offer a discounted rate on orders over $100.00
  • Discounted Shipping to Continental USA - we offer discounted shipping rates for orders of $100.00 or more.

"Express or Courier" Shipping option (available in Canada):
Most orders are shipped Expedited Canada Post.  If you need your order quicker we do offer Faster Shipping options such as shipping by a Courier for shipments, when you select "Express or Courier" shipping option.  These price options excludes rural areas, within certain areas of Canada.  If you live in a rural area, we would be happy to provide an Express shipping estimate over the phone or by email.

Please note:  depending on where you live, home delivery might not be available and you will need to pickup your order at the shippers nearest pickup location.

**Note:  In the event that shipping charges are considerably higher than the rate calculated at checkout, there might be additional charges. If additional shipping charges apply you will be contacted by phone or email with a quote before we fulfill and ship your order. (Ie: remote areas, over sized or heavy items). We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this might cause. 

Shipping Time

Once you place your order we strive to ship your orders within 1-2 business* days.  If there are any delays more than 4 business* days we will notify you.

Once your order is shipped, we will email you a shipping confirmation email and tracking number. Please allow some time for your tracking status to be available/updated.

Shipping estimates are based on Business Days (Monday to Friday excluding statutory holidays).  Note: possible longer shipping times might be incurred due to shipping to remote areas, during Christmas season or unexpected delays by the shipper (such as weather or labour delays). Orders shipped to the Internationally might experience delays due to Customs or by any other regulatory authority.

Duty & custom fees to shipments outside of Canada

Local taxes, duties and brokerage fees are not included in our prices or shipping costs.  These are the responsibility of the purchaser of the order.  Note: if the order is not shipped to the purchaser these fees are payable by the addressee (Ship to address).


    Can I Ship to a different address?

    Yes, for ship to addresses within Canada & USA.  On the Shipping Method page - Enter the shipping details where you would like the order shipped & continue to payment method page.
    Next, on the Payment Method page - in the Billing Address field select "Use a different billing address" and enter your billing address.

    Shipments to other countries will only be shipped to the billing address. 
    For all shipments, we will not ship to a Freight Forwarding address.

    We may contact you to verify identity.

    Shipping/Fulfill Confirmation Email

    Once your order has been processed and a shipping label/pickup has been created by our shipper you will receive a shipping or fulfill confirmation email.  

    Order tracking

    The order tracking number you receive in the email from the shipper will contain order tracking information.    Please allow some time for your tracking status to be available/updated. There is a delay between the time the shipping label/pickup from the shipper is created and the actual time the shipper processes it in their facilities.

    For example, if we process your order on Saturday, shipment progress will be shown in the evening of the next business day (ie: Monday).

    Shipping Address Accuracy:

    Please ensure that your shipping address is complete and correct when placing your order.  Once your order is submitted, you can also double check this on your Order Confirmation email.  If you notice an error please call us immediately (within 15 minutes of placing your order.)
    Once you have received your order fulfillment email, we will not be able to make any changes as the item has been shipped. 

    If you notify us by email we can not guarantee that it will be received/reviewed before your order is fulfilled.  We recommend you call us at 250.754.3933

    Returns due to failure to pickup, shipping address errors or incomplete address errors provided by the customer, the shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer. 
    You will be contacted to have your order re-shipped and pay the additional shipping fees. If you received free shipping, you will be charged shipping to have the order re-shipped.

    In-store Pickup

    In-store pickup is available at our store in Nanaimo, BC.  Please have photo ID available and order# at the store when picking up.  You can select to have someone else pick up the order by entering their name and phone number in the "Pickup Information" option during checkout.  Any changes to the pickup person after your order is placed, please email us.

    We reserve the right to modify or cancel orders for any reason; you will be notified of any modifications or cancellations.
